Explanation
"T7-8" refers to the area between the seventh and eighth thoracic vertebrae in the spine. This is the middle part of the spine, located in the chest area. A "focal 3 mm central disc protrusion" means that a small part of the spinal disc (about 3 millimeters) is bulging out from its normal position. This bulge is causing a change in the shape of the front part of the spinal cord and a slight narrowing of the spinal canal, but there's no clear sign of any abnormality in the spinal cord's signals. There's also no significant narrowing in the openings where the nerves exit the spine.
