Explanation

Low ejection fraction refers to a condition where the heart is not pumping blood as well as it should. Normally, the heart pumps out more than half the blood that fills it during each beat. But when someone has a low ejection fraction, the heart is only able to pump out a smaller amount of blood. This can lead to various health problems as the body may not receive enough oxygen-rich blood.
